The Impact100 SRQ 5Qs:

  • Is the initiative viable?
  • Is the initiative sustainable?
  • Will the initiative positively impact the community?
  • Will we be good stewards of the dollars with which we have been entrusted by funding this initiative?

How to Complete the Ballot

Here is how to cast your in-person vote at the event from your mobile device:   (Note: If you are absentee voting, please refer to the absentee voting instructions here.)

Voting opens after the last Nonprofit makes their presentation during the Annual Celebration. The ballot cannot be accessed before the voting period.

1) Log into the Impact100SRQ App on your mobile device.
2) Locate the three-line menu at the top left corner of the app and select MEMBERS ONLY
3) Select ELECTIONS.
4) Select 2022 IMPACT100 SRQ ANNUAL VOTE and cast your vote.

If you need assistance in voting, please visit the Technology Table on-site at the event.  A limited number of paper ballots will also be available upon request.

Your member ballot will look like this:

No vote may be changed once you click SUBMIT to confirm your vote has been cast.

We hope you will continue your collective giving journey with us by renewing for the 2023 giving year. Better still, please consider joining at 110% and take advantage of the K.I.S.S. (Keep Impact Self-Sustaining) Member Challenge. Renew now at 110% and your additional 10% ($100) will be equally matched thus automatically doubling to $200. All K.I.S.S. funds are used for chapter expenses, and this challenge will only be available until generous donor matching funds are depleted.

To renew, you may visit the Membership table on-site or renew here.

Thank you for your participation in the 2022 Impact100 SRQ grant award process.

PLEASE NOTE: ONGOING MEMBER VOTING CONFIDENTIALITY IS IN EFFECT UNTIL SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 6TH AT 4:00PM. To maintain the integrity of our voting process please refrain from:

• Sharing your vote for grant finalist selections with any other members.
• Attempting to gain an unfair advantage for any grant finalist.
• Persuading other members to support a particular grant finalist.

We encourage you to be supportive of all our local nonprofits who applied for our grants by continuing to learn more about them and volunteering to help their efforts.

THANK YOU

A heartfelt thanks go to the many members who volunteered their time and talents to ensure a comprehensive and equitable review of our applications.

Applications were first screened for our eligibility criteria, which include:

  • Submission by a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization primarily serving Manatee and/or Sarasota Counties
  • An initiative budget equal or greater to our grant amount, to be expended within 24 months of the award date
  • Supporting documentation of organization’s financial position and expected budget expenses
  • A detailed sustainability plan for the ongoing impact of the initiative

Volunteers on our Focus Area Committees (FACs) reviewed and scored the applications. Volunteer members with financial skills delved deeper into the applicants' financial reports and the proposed initiative budget and reported assessments to each corresponding FAC.  Site Visit Teams met with nonprofit representatives to gain more details and understanding of the agencies and their proposals, and reported those findings back to each respective FAC.  Members of each FAC then considered this combined information and voted on the two initiatives which were most aligned with our five key questions, the Impact100 SRQ 5Qs.

The finalists from each FAC were announced to our membership and the community on October 19, 2022 at the Meet the Finalists Media Event, and then presented to our full member population for consideration and voting.

Special thanks go to our five Focus Area Committee (FAC) Chairs and Community Investment Review Committee (CIRC) Chairs who led this process and the financial reviews:

  • Arts & Culture, Anne Ridings and Cindy Wrick
  • Education, Marilyn Keyes and Kim Fierst
  • Environment & Recreation, Ellen Foster and Maria Mandler
  • Family, Andrea McHenry and Toni Schemmel
  • Health & Wellness, Kathy McKown and Regina Monahan
