Impact 100 SRQ advances philanthropy in Sarasota & Manatee Counties by pooling together smaller donations of individual women to create a large grant(s) which will have a high impact in our community. We facilitate this by awarding $100,000 grant(s) to non-profits in the following five focus areas: Arts & Culture, Education, Environment & Recreation, Family and Health & Wellness. The grant recipient(s) are selected by a vote of all members at the annual meeting after a thorough proposal review process.
The grant application cycle opens each Spring. Non-profit organizations utilize an online grant platform and undergo a rigorous review process. Our Focus Area Committee (FAC) reviews all grant applications and performs site visits of selected proposed projects. Finalists are chosen from among this group and make presentations to the full membership at the annual voting meeting. Our $100,000 high impact grant(s) are awarded the same evening. The number of grants is determined each year by the number of Impact 100 SRQ members.
