Do you have a great sustainable project that will help Sarasota and/or Manatee Counties with 100% of the funds being used locally?
Impact100 SRQ advances philanthropy in Sarasota and/or Manatee counties by pooling together smaller donations of individual women to create a large grant(s) which will have a high impact in our community. We facilitate this by awarding $100,000 grant(s) to nonprofits in the following five focus areas: Arts & Culture, Education, Environment & Recreation, Family and Health & Wellness. The grant recipient(s) are selected by a vote of all members at the Annual Celebration after a thorough proposal review process.
The grant application cycle opens each Spring. Nonprofit organizations utilize an online grant platform to submit grant applications which undergo a rigorous review process. Our Focus Area Committees (FACs) review all grant applications and perform site visits of selected proposed projects. Finalists are chosen from among this group and make presentations to the full membership at the Annual Celebration. Our $100,000 high impact grant(s) are awarded the same evening. The number of grants is determined each year by the number of Impact100 SRQ members.
